S$15,000 from Sabana REIT’s 2Q 2012 non-
Shari’ah income was used to sponsor a book
titled Keeping The Faith – Syed Isa Semait
Mufti of Singapore 1972-2011, which was
launched in honour of Syed Isa Semait, the
former Mufti of MUIS. The proceeds from
this sponsorship are dedicated to education
and a scholarship fund for needy children.

Muslim League (“SKML”)
We donated S$17,863 from Sabana REIT’s 4Q
2012 non-Shari’ah income to SKML’s Women
Empowerment Program, which supports
home-based micro-business opportunities
for single or stay-home mums. The donation
funded activities such as upgrading courses
offered by the Work Development Authority,
as well as providing seed money for small
home-based business set-ups.
MENDAKI Sense
Sabana REIT donated its 3Q 2012 non-
Shari’ah income amounting to S$33,004 to
MENDAKI Sense, the training arm of Yayasan
MENDAKI. The funds were used to support
continuing education and training services,

The Manager has taken small but active
steps in raising corporate social responsibility
awareness among its employees and within
the community in which it operates. In 2012,
a total of S$146,770 of Sabana REIT’s non-
Shari’ah income was allocated to seven
charitable causes.
