Ms Tan Chiew Kian
Chief Financial Officer
Ms Tan is the Chief Financial Officer of the Manager.
She works closely with the Chief Executive Officer and
the management team to formulate strategic plans for
Sabana Shari’ah Compliant REIT. She held a number
of positions in accounting and finance prior to joining
the Manager.
Ms Tan was previously the Chief Financial Officer
for Singapore Medical Group Limited from February
2008 to March 2011, where she was responsible for
the Group’s finance, tax, treasury, audit, investments
and other matters that relate to the Group’s listing on
Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited (“SGX-
ST”). From 2006 to 2008, Ms Tan was Chief Financial
Officer for Toll Logistics (Asia) Limited (formerly known
as Sembawang Kimtrans Ltd), Southeast Asia’s leading
integrated logistics service provider, where she held a
similar portfolio.
Ms Tan started her accounting career at JTC Corporation
as an Accountant and took on the role as Finance
Manager for CapitaLand Commercial Limited from
2001 to 2005.
Ms Tan holds a Master of Business Administration
from Nanyang Technological University and a CIMA
Diploma in Islamic Finance. She is a Certified Public
Accountant and Accredited Tax Practitioner (Income Tax)
of Singapore, and member of the Institute of Certified
Public Accountants of Singapore and Singapore Institute
of Accredited Tax Professionals Limited.
Mr How Pui, Ric
Assistant General Manager
Mr How joined Sabana Property Management Pte. Ltd. on
5 September 2011 as an Assistant General Manager.
He brings with him more than 10 years of experience
in property and facilities management which include
commercial, industrial and retail properties.
Prior to joining Sabana Property Management Pte. Ltd.,
Mr How was Property Manager for City Developments
Limited (“CDL”) and its subsidiaries, Branbury Investment
Limited. During his appointment with CDL, he set up
the property and facilities management system for
two new developments with a total leasable area of
approximately 400,00 sq ft. He also held the appointment
of Property Manager at New Tech Park (“NTP”),
which is now one of the Trust’s portfolio properties.
Mr How played a key role in the upgrading and energy
management project in NTP that involved a major chiller
system change worth over S$3.0 million, which was
completed in September 2010. The project had led to
higher operation efficiencies and significant cost savings
for development. Separately, NTP was also certified
Green Mark ‘GOLD’ in March 2009.
Prior to joining CDL, Mr How worked with Keppel FMO
Pte. Ltd. from 2003 to 2006 and held the appointment
of Area Manager for Keppel Land’s group of commercial
development, of which he managed a portfolio of more
than 10 properties with over 90 employees with broad-
based abilities in strategic planning, cost re-engineering,
operations and administration.
His prior employment includes CB Richard Ellis Pte.
Ltd. from 2002 to 2003 and Davis Langdon & Seah
Pte. Ltd. from 1997 to 1998 as a Quantity Surveyor.
Mr How began his career in 1996 as Property Officer
with Far East Organization Pte. Ltd..
Mr How holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree
in Building Management from the National University of
Singapore.
