Associate Professor Muhammad
Faishal Bin Ibrahim Khan Surattee
Independent Non-executive Director
Associate Professor Muhammad Faishal was appointed
as an Independent Non-executive Director of the
Manager on 1 November 2010. He is also the Chairman
of the Nominating and Remuneration Committee and a
member of the Audit Committee.
Professor Faishal has been working as an academic
at the National University of Singapore since 1996.
Prior to joining the National University of Singapore,
Professor Faishal was a valuer at the Inland Revenue
Authority of Singapore from 1993 to 1996, where he
valued properties for taxation purposes, including
those relating to property tax, stamp duty and estate
duty. In addition, he valued land for the sale of sites by
Singapore government agencies.
Professor Faishal has been a Member of Parliament
since May 2006 and is currently serving Singapore’s
Nee Soon GRC.
Professor Faishal holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours)
in Estate Management from the National University of
Singapore, a Master of Science degree in Real Estate
from the National University of Singapore and a Doctor
of Philosophy degree in Management Sciences from
the University of Manchester Institute of Science and
Technology.
Ms Ng Shin Ein
Non-executive Director
Ms Ng Shin Ein was appointed as a Non-executive
Director of the Manager on 1 November 2010. She is
also a member of the Audit Committee.
She is the Regional Managing Director of Blue Ocean
Associates Pte. Ltd., a f irm focused on private
investments in Asia. Prior to this, Ms Ng was with the
Singapore Exchange, where she was responsible for
developing Singapore’s capital market by bringing
foreign companies to list in Singapore. Additionally,
she was part of the Singapore Exchange’s Initial Public
Offering Approval Committee.
Ms Ng started her career as a corporate lawyer in
Messrs Lee & Lee, pursuant to her admission as an
advocate and solicitor of the Singapore’s Supreme
Court. Whilst in legal practice, she advised on joint
ventures, mergers and acquisitions and fund raising
exercises. Ms Ng sits on the Boards of NTUC Fairprice
Cooperative, Yanlord Land Group Limited, First
Resources Limited and Eu Yan Seng International Ltd.
Additionally, she is an adjunct research fellow focused
on Philanthropy and social enterprises with the Business
School of National University of Singapore.
Ms Ng holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the Queen
Mary and Westfield College, University of London and
a Post Graduate Diploma in Singapore Law from the
National University of Singapore.
Mr Henry Chua Tiong Hock
Non-executive Director
Mr Chua is a Non-executive Director of the Manager and
also a member of the Nominating and Remuneration
Committee. He was appointed on 1 November 2010.
Mr Chua has worked in Freight Links Group for over 20
year. During his service with Freight Links Group, Mr
Chua served in numerous vocations in management
and in operations.
Mr Chua is currently Executive Director and Chief
Corporate Development Officer of Freight Links Express
Holdings Limited and is responsible for corporate
development, investment and properties within the
Freight Links Group.
Mr Chua is concurrently a Non-executive Director of
Freight Management Holdings Berhad, an associate
company of Freight Links Express Holdings Limited,
which is listed on Bursa Malaysia. Mr Chua also holds
the position of Executive Director in a number of other
subsidiaries in the Freight Links Group located in
Singapore and overseas.
Mr Chua holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the
University of Singapore, a Diploma in Personnel
Management f rom the Si ngapore Inst i tute of
Management and Singapore Institute of Personnel
Management and a Diploma in Business Administration
from the National University of Singapore.
